Talon Talk

The Talon Talk is a podcast that talks about all things related to FIRST Robotics. The Steel Talons will discuss the struggles and lessons they have learned throughout the duration of their team. In addition, we will examine how to start new FIRST robotics teams, how to start fundraising for your team, how to market your events, how to form partnerships, and more! On the opposite side, we will go into the build side of robotics, with a discussion of programming, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

We are the Obra D. Tompkins High School’s Robotics Club located in Katy, Texas, established in 2015. We are a club on campus, but we are better known competitively in the FIRST Robotics Competitions (FRC) as the Steel Talons and the FRC team number of #5427.
